Top 5 Theme Parks Apps on iOS in New Zealand Q3 2022

The third quarter of 2022 saw varying performances for the top five theme park apps on the iOS platform in New Zealand. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks showed fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 213 and reaching a peak of 527 in mid-July. By the end of September, the downloads increased to 400. Active users steadily grew from 541 at the beginning of Q3 to 1.1K by the end of September. This app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Disneyland® exhibited a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, hovering around 100 to 154. The app saw a notable increase in active users, starting at 203 and ending the quarter at 322. Revenue, however, varied significantly, peaking at $38 in late August and falling to $1 by the end of September.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ maintained a relatively stable download rate, ranging from 45 to 74 weekly downloads. Active users also showed a gradual increase, starting at 93 and reaching 131 by the end of September. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Disneyland® Paris had a moderate download performance, with numbers fluctuating between 24 and 75 throughout the quarter. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 84 and ending at 115. This app did not generate any revenue during Q3 2022.

Lastly, My Disney Experience experienced a steady download rate, ranging from 29 to 58 weekly downloads. Active users saw a slight increase, starting at 95 and reaching 128 by the end of the quarter. Revenue for this app peaked at $63 in mid-September.
